We offer comfortable, friendly homestay accommodation in peaceful, rural surroundings near Whakatane and Awakeri in the beautiful Eastern Bay of Plenty; guests can take an interest in the farm or just relax and visit the many places of interest locally. We also offer tours for guests interested in vintage tractors.

Devand is a small farm with Red Devon catttle, olives and blueberries; John and Gayle welcome guests to their sunny, rural homestay.  Sit out on the spacious deck in sun or shade, spa under a clear, starry nightsky, watch the calves at play (in season) or listen to the frogs in the pond. We are only fifteen minutes drive from Whakatane town and five minutes from Awakeri.  With prior notice we serve evening meals using our own and local produce, accompanied by complimentary New Zealand wines and/or beers.

We are members of the Bed & Breakfast Association New Zealand, previously known as @home New Zealand for quality assessed bed and breakfast.

Our Red Devon cattle are a small stud herd and stock is occasionally available.

We also supply Morris oils and lubricants for many specialist applications.
